Privacy Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
This policy explains what information Null, Inc. d/b/a Untanglead (“Untanglead,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website, untanglead.com, including the Websites, VerifiedBoater and Luminous pages, and what we do with it. Our dealer platform and VerifiedBoater service have their own privacy terms.
What we collect
What you tell us. When you fill in a form, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, company or dealership name, website address, your role, the number of locations, an annual revenue range, the systems you use, and anything you write in a message. If you request a website mockup, we also collect your confirmation that you’re authorized to act for the dealership.
What your browser sends. When a form is submitted, we record the IP address it came from, to help us spot spam and abuse. Like most websites, our servers also keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
Your dealership’s public materials. If you request a mockup, we look at your dealership’s public website and use its materials as described in our Mockup Terms.
How we use it
- to reply to you, prepare the mockup, proposal or case study you asked for, and follow up about your request;
- with your permission, to send you occasional product updates and news about Untanglead (every email has an unsubscribe link);
- to keep the website secure and working, and to prevent spam and abuse.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run the website and reply to you, and only so they can do that:
- DigitalOcean, through Laravel Forge, hosts the website and stores form submissions;
- Google Workspace receives form submissions in our email inbox;
- Postmark sends the emails the website generates, such as the case study you request.
- Plausible Analytics counts visits and form completions for us. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t collect personal information, and doesn’t track you across other websites.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies it needs to work: a session cookie and a security token that protects forms from forgery. They expire after two hours. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Our analytics, Plausible, doesn’t use cookies at all.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for one year, then delete them, unless you’ve become a customer or asked us to keep in touch. Mockups and the materials used to build them are kept as described in the Mockup Terms. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you product updates, by emailing hello@untanglead.com. You can also unsubscribe from any update using the link in the email. Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, you may have additional rights under local law. We’ll honor them, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. It isn’t directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
Where we operate
Untanglead is based in the United States, and the information we collect is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted here.
